Grad Cap Information

The Indigenous Student Centre has pre-ordered grad caps for Indigenous grads. We've received many requests for early access to grad caps so that graduands may Indigenize this piece of Convocation regalia in a way that best represents their community, traditions, friends/family, and the self.
  • Cap Sizing: all caps are size XL (24 3/8 inches)
  • Restrictions:
    • Grad Caps are available to October 2026 and June 2027 Graduands.
    • 100 caps are available (while supplies last).
    • Mailout option is only available to folks who live outside of the lower mainland.
  • Mailout Timeframe: Caps will be sent out on a rolling basis. The earlier you submit, the earlier you may receive your grad cap.

Please note that Grad Caps are a part of all regalia rentals, so if you choose not to receive one in advance to customize it, then you will still receive it on the day of convocation.
