Volunteer Facilitators and Note-takers Needed!

The SFU Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue and SFU Public Square in partnership with our SFU campuses and our Faculty of Environment, along with the DVBIA are hosting fun, virtual dialogues with residents of Vancouver, Surrey and Burnaby to share ideas for restoring and revitalizing our city centres. These generative sessions will engage residents in both plenary and breakout groups.

The events take place:
Focus on Vancouver - June 14, 2021 10am to noon
Focus on Surrey - June 15, 2021 10am to noon
Focus on Burnaby- June 16, 2021 10am to noon

We invite skilled facilitators and note-takers to host small breakout groups of 8 to 10 people. Ideally, we are seeking individuals who are comfortable using jam boards, have experience in facilitating people of different ages and backgrounds, and are able to gather and synthesize what is being discussed quickly and accurately. We will provide a facilitation and note-taker handbook and training. The training will take place online for note-takers on June 8 at 1:30-2:30 pm
and for facilitators on June 10, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:15am.
