Women's Voices – Expression of Interest form
The Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees (VICCIR) invites you to Women's Voices, a supportive and confidential space where women (18+) exposed to gender-based violence can come together, share experiences, and build a sense of community. At VICCIR, we believe that your voice matters, and we want to give you space to share your story with compassionate and curious ears.
What is it?
This is a support group for all women who would like a space to process their experiences with gender-based violence and intergenerational trauma without fear of judgment. The sessions will be led by registered clinical counsellors from VICCIR and focus on fostering resilience and promoting well-being. Sessions will be 90 minutes long and involve discussion, reflection, and the use of expressive art activities.
Who is it for?
Women seeking a space for connection, reflection, and support in their personal journeys.
How does it work?
The group will run for eight weeks, beginning in the second week of May. Sessions will take place in Victoria and online. Kindly complete the information below, and a member of the VICCIR team will reach out with more information.
