The Bridges for Women Society is currently seeking interested Lived Expertise Applicants to work with us on the development and ongoing work of an advisory committee for the organization.
The advisory committee will be regarded as a key component of the organization and will work directly with the Bridges Staff Team and Board Members on supporting the development of existing and emerging programs, services, and community-based events and initiatives.
Advisory committee members will meet once per month, starting in December 2025. Committee meetings will be paid by honorarium at a rate of $62.50/hr., with light refreshments provided. Committee meetings will be facilitated in hybrid format, meaning you can participate either in-person at our office, or online. (Online meeting equipment will not be provided.)
We are seeking 8 - 12 committee members who will bring their lived expertise and avid interest in committee work to this project.
We want to hear from you if you are:

- Age 55+
And you bring current or previous experiences with:
- Recovery with trauma
- Financial insecurity and/or barriers to employment
