Fall 2025 GSA-CGPS Need-based Bursary Application Bursary Application Survey GSA- CGPS Need-Based Bursaries are open to any currently-enrolled University of Saskatchewan Graduate Student, except for current and previous GSA Executives and current and previous Bursary Selection Committee members.Applications for the 2025 Fall Term Bursaries will be accepted from Tuesday October 7, 2025 at 8:00 AM until Friday October 24, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Recipients will be notified of their successful application by EOB November 10, 2025. Applicants who were not selected for the bursary will not receive individual communication.To apply, please complete this form (including all requested supporting documents) before the submission deadline. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.Please ensure you have collected the following supporting documents prior to moving forward with the application. If you do not have them prepared, please leave the survey now and return at a later date. Your survey progress cannot be saved, and multiple submissions from the same applicant will not be combined to collect all information A copy of your tuition for the 2025 Fall Term (saved as a PDF): To find this screen in PAWS, go to Tuition & Fees → View and Pay My Tuition and Fees → Click the Printer Icon in the upper righthand corner → Check the "Fall 2025" radio button → Print; If you did it correctly, your name and NSID are visible on the top right corner of the document. You can still apply even if you have a balance due on your account. A copy of your up-to-date unofficial transcripts (saved as a PDF): To find this screen in PAWS, go to My Records → Proof of Grades → Unofficial Academic Transcript; Under 'Transcript Level' select 'Graduate Studies Level'; Under 'Transcript Type' select 'Unofficial' and click 'Submit'; In the upper right-hand corner, click the Printer icon to save as a PDF. *If you have a hold on your account, you can use a copy of your transcript downloaded in a recent term. If you do not have one, please submit a final transcript from your most recent institution.*If you are a newly enrolled student and do not have anything on your USask transcript, you may submit your final transcript from your most recent institution (e.g., transcripts you used to apply for admission).*If you have exhausted your program funding, you will also be required to submit: One (1) letter of support (as a PDF) from your supervisor, or a faculty member in your department which lists your previous funding sources, describes efforts to acquire additional funding, and explains any extenuating circumstances associated with delayed completion of your program (if applicable). The reference letter must be on institutional letterhead. We recognize that is a need-based bursary. A Confirmation of Enrolment document is not required upon submission to keep applications free of charge. Enrolment will be verified by CGPS. Please note that information included in bursary applications will be kept strictly confidential and all information will be destroyed following evaluation.
