Paths to Support: Insights from 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth in BC |
Introduction
Welcome to the "Paths to Support: Insights from 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth in BC" Survey!
This survey is being sent out by QChat Support Association (QCHAT) with funding from the Government of Canada. We are doing a research project because we want to hear from 2SLGBTQIA+ youth living in rural and remote communities in British Columbia (BC). Our goal with this survey is to better understand how easy or hard it is to get support, what kinds of support are missing and how we, here at QCHAT, can create better peer support (support from 2SLGBTQIA+ people your own age) and advocacy for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in the future.
The survey is completely anonymous, so your identity will be kept private. You can skip any questions you don’t want to answer. By completing this survey you consent (agree) to QCHAT using your answers for our research project, and we thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! Your answers will help us find ways to improve support for youth like you.
If you have any questions or concerns about this survey, please feel welcome to reach out to us at letschat@qchat.ca.
A few things to note before you begin the survey. If you spent your childhood and/or teenage years living in a rural or remote area of BC, but don't live in one anymore, please answer according to your experiences at the time you lived there. Also, when the word 'identity' is used in this survey it will be referring to 2SLGBTQIA+ identities only.
