Thank you for your interest in our study, titled "Exploring Collective Action amidst the HIV/AIDS crisis: Implications for Contemporary Efforts to Resist Discrimination".

We are hosting focus groups with three groups involved in advocacy and activism during the HIV/AIDS crisis between 1980 and 1996: 1. gay men; 2. members of the 2S/LGBTQIA+ community who did not identity as gay men at the time; and 3. healthcare and social service providers. These groups overlap and evolve, and you may belong to more than one group. We ask that you select the group (or groups) that best reflect your involvement and adjacency to the HIV/AIDS crisis.

Please note that we may not be able to conduct focus groups with all eligible individuals. In the case that we receive a high volume of responses and are not able to conduct focus groups with all eligible individuals, we will prioritize participants who are underrepresented (e.g., by race/ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, etc.).

Please provide your contact information and a member of the research team will reach out to you shortly! By completing this form, it is assumed you are giving consent to be contacted. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email the Project Coordinator, Madz, at collectiveactionproject@uvic.ca or the principle investigator, Dr Ingrid Handlovsky (ihandlovsky@uvic.ca).
