Purpose
OHTN Conference travel grants are intended to reduce barriers to participation and support a broad range of people to attend the conference, including people with lived and living experience of HIV, community members, students, early-career participants, frontline workers, Black and Indigenous communities, and people from rural and northern communities.

Eligibility
Applicants must live or work in Ontario. Travel grant support is available to individuals rather than institutions. Applicants may be affiliated with an organization; organizational affiliation does not automatically make an applicant ineligible.
Available support

Depending on individual need and available funding, travel grant support may include travel to and from the conference, accommodation, local transportation, childcare or dependent care, meals not provided by the conference, accessibility-related costs, and other participation-related expenses approved by OHTN.

Important:
Travel grant funding is limited. Applying does not guarantee funding. Applicants will be notified of the decision and, if approved, which expenses OHTN will cover.
