Canadian Stroke Best Practices
Help Shape the Future of Canadian Stroke Best Practices!
2026 marks 20 years since the first publication of the Canadian Stroke Best Practice Recommendations. These recommendations are operationally led by Heart & StrokeTM, in partnership with Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation, Canadian Stroke Consortium, and CanStroke Recovery Network. Members of these organizations – and many, many others – contribute to the development of these high-quality recommendations; we are proud of the progress made and grateful to all those that have contributed over these last 20 years.
To help ensure these recommendations and resources continue to meet your needs, and support high-quality stroke care across Canada, Heart & Stroke is looking for your feedback. This survey is open to all users of the Canadian Stroke Best Practice Recommendations and associated resources found on strokebestpractices.ca.
Why participate?
- Your input helps us understand what’s working and what can be improved.
- Survey results will be reviewed and compiled by internal Heart & Stroke teams. Individual level data will be stored on secure servers within the Heart & Stroke and retained for up to 7 years.
- Summary, non-personally identifiable results will be shared with our Stroke Best Practices Advisory Committee, and other stroke leaders across Canada as we plan for the future. Any public reports will only include summary, non-personally identifiable findings.
- All responses are anonymous.
- The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete.
The survey will remain open on the website until March 31, 2026. If you have any questions about this survey or how the results will be used, please reach out to strokebestpractices@heartandstroke.ca.
