Co-op Awards

Application Window: October 9 - November 8, 2026

The KPU Career Development Centre is pleased to award:
  1. School of Business Co-operative Education Awards: eleven (11) $1,000 scholarships to Business Co-op students.
  2. Co-operative Education Achievement Award: one (1) $1,000 scholarship to a student from any Co-operative Education program.
  3. Bill and Benita Francis Co-operative Education Award: one (1) $1,000 scholarship to a Business Co-op student.
  4. EC Managed IT Co-op Award: one (1) $1,000 scholarship to Co-op students in BTech in Information Technology and Computer Information Systems Diploma, with preference given to female students.
  5. (New Award) Darryl Schallig Perseverance Endowed Award: one (1) $1,000 award open to students in any Co-op program, recognizing perseverance, resilience, curiosity, and a passion for technology and innovation. You do not need to be in a technology-related field to apply.

Eligibility:
  • Applicants must be enrolled as a Co-operative Education student.
  • Applicants must be currently registered in a Co-op work term in Fall 2026 OR have successfully completed a Co-op work term in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026.
